Third time competing in triple jump. Iโ€™d love some feedback. Iโ€™m always timid going into my first phase and I never bring enough speed because Iโ€™m not confident in how to land and absorb the impact. Iโ€™m tired of babying my first phase. Any tips?

Dunk you said jumping wrong way it will hurt legs. Can you tell me why it's wrong and how to do right?

You are using your legs to jump and not your hip. Look at this drill and practice jumping w/o your knee coming so high up to focus on how you land https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRsh70Ij3vo/?igsh=MWhscXR4OWlvMXhmaw==

Boyyy your first phase could be so much longer omg you have a lot of speed. Take that knee drive higher on the first jump. You will have more impact on the ground on the 2nd which will make it harder to come up but you have to go higher on 1st

1. Great first phase push off

2. Need more impact after 2nd phase

3. Practice going from 2nd phase to 3rd focusing on jumping UP not out on 3rd phase so you have more hang time

(So stand 15feet from pit, jump into 2nd phase with knee up and press down harder to go up into 3rd phase which should end in the pit)

Would love some feedback

I would just like some feedback on how I could possibly have gone further on this jump.

Letโ€™s just focus on the first phase:

1. Good speed going into it.

2. Jump further on 1st phase

3. Suggestion = put out cone at 19 feet in practice and try to get that on your first phase. Long jump off it. Higher

Need advice for a triple jumper

How should I stay motivated when I'm in rehab for lowback, knee, and shin injuries for atleast a couple months and I can't train or jump. And what are tips for the recovery proccess.
